Let’s get technical, technical… (I hear Olivia Newton-John singing in the background lol)

In this post/video, I will show you from my Home Designer Pro program by Chief Architect how I design different cabinet styles to suit each style of Kitchen or Bathroom that I design.

This is only showing you the ‘cabinet box’ design with Euro Frameless Cabinet // Standard Framed Cabinet Design and finally what an Inset Cabinet and Door look like.

Cheat Sheet:
Frameless cabinets with full overlay doors and hidden euro soft close hardware are the most common cabinets used today with any style of door to suit the “Art & Style” of your home (Flat panel, Shaker, recessed panel, raised panel, beaded, plank etc)

Framed cabinets were used in the 1950 – ’70s and are very strong as they have more support but less access as there is a center stile where the doors close.

Inset cabinets are framed cabinets with doors that are flush with the framed allowing a custom heritage look but also a more limited accent to the interiors of the doors. Typically the hinges will be seen on the exterior of the cabinet but can also be hidden with the more modern Euro hardware.
